Taken on 18 Jan, 2010 in the buffer zone of the Nagarahole' Forest, Karnataka.
On top of the tree is a watch-out. Every village has 2 or three of them. They are manned every night by the youth of the village. This apparently is the path of migratory elephants. They walk through the village in search of sugarcane.
