Rue ba Rue

Taken on 12 May, 2010 at Gudladona, Nellore Dist.

4 year old granddaughter of my 'Gumasta' (farm manager). Those eyes have seen tragedy you and I may never have seen. She lost her father, who was only 29, last year. The very next day her mother hung herself, unable to think of life without him. Pavani now lives on my farm with her grandparents.

Beautifully captured. :) Also, it is so humble and noble of you to take care of her education. Now, this is what, at times, makes me like humans more!
