Crewcut Hills

Taken by my son, Aakash, November, 2010, during a bike trip of about 2400 km from Kadapa to Hyderabad, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada and Vizag, Araku and the Borra Caves.

I had told him that he should get me photos of what he sees. He always brings home photos with friends in every scene! Horrorifying! These were taken for his mom....:)

The sheer size and age of these boulders had me wonderstruck. You can gauge the size by looking at the palm tree in their midst.

Bonsai Palm

A cliffhanger bonsai. It has so many dry leaves about it and is obviously very old.
I loved the play of light and shade in that spot.

Who do we blame?

A wonderful location with ancient trees and a redundant waterfall. Looking at the place and the monolith temple nearby, I had a wonderful time fantasising about the place a century ago. Who do we blame for the waterless waterfall...the monsoon...global warming? 
Will post the photo of the temple tomorrow.
